Registration Opens

Summer is flying by as it usually does and you know what that means, hockey is in the air. Soon, the leaves will brown and the quest for the Keg Cup will begin again!

Every quest to lift such a prized mug starts the same however. Registering for the 2025/2026 season. Let's see what our fearless commissioner has to say:

Almonte Men's Hockey League 2025 

Start stretching boys, AMHL is back! Welcome to the first step towards hoisting the Beer Keg Cup! If you want to join the league this year please fill out and submit this form by September 10th. All submissions will be evaluated and you will be contacted if you are eligible for the draft. We will have a 5 team league so there are 70 spots available. This is a competitive league with refs. You must be 18 years old to play. 

This is a DRAFT league and we try to keep it as competitive and fun as possible so New comers to the league will play in a rookie game (likely September 30th but this will be confirmed) to help evaluate your ability so the teams are evenly balanced.

NOTE: we give priority to returning players and wont know how many new spots we have available until the close of registration, signing up DOES NOT GUARANTEE A SPOT in the league. If you are deciding between multiple leagues and the late notice for this league is an issue please email me separately to discuss.

Ice times will be Sunday mornings at 8 and 9 am and Tuesday Nights at 10 and 11 PM. The season will start early-Mid October and be finished by mid March.

Cost will be approx. $450 per player, for  approx. 28 regular season games plus playoff round robin with the potential for 1 game semi and a 2 game tie breaker Final.  You will be notified of the exact dates and league fees ASAP but league fees are due at the start of the season. Payment plans can be arranged if necessary.
