AMHL Wraps Up Movember Campaign With $610 Raised — Thank You, Everyone! 

Almonte ON - The AMHL community once again showed what makes this league special, rallying together throughout the month of November to support Movember and the important men’s health initiatives it represents. Through a combination of generous donations and strong support for our 50/50 draw, we’re proud to announce that we raised a total of $610 this year!

A huge thank-you goes out to every player, fan, and supporter alike who chipped in. Whether you bought a ticket, tossed a few dollars into the pot, helped spread the word, or simply encouraged the cause, your contribution made a real impact.

Of course, every fundraiser comes with a few lucky winners. Congratulations to Kyle Speck, who walked away with $535 as the winner of our 50/50 raffle! And a big shout-out to Cole Perry, who scored himself a pair of Ottawa Senators tickets. Enjoy the game, Cole — and try not to compare NHL line changes to ours.

Movember is about more than moustaches and friendly competition — it’s about supporting mental health, suicide prevention, and prostate and testicular cancer awareness. Thanks to the participation of our league members, the AMHL is proud to contribute to that mission.

We appreciate every bit of support that came in this year and are already looking ahead to 2025. With the momentum we’ve built and the passion in this league, we’re confident we can beat our number next year.
